Momentum Wealth rises to sleeping bag appeal

Back

community workAs part of our ongoing community work, Momentum Wealth was delighted to donate 22 sleeping bags to The Salvation Army’s Sleeping Bag Appeal last month.

The sleeping bags were bought with donations made by Momentum Wealth employees as well as a matching pledge from managing director Damian Collins (pictured).

Now that winter has well and truly set in, these sleeping bags will provide some relief and much-needed comfort to Perth’s homeless.

The 22 sleeping bags were donated as part of Momentum Wealth’s sponsorship to REIWA’s Community REInvest program, which in turn supports The Salvation Army.

The Community REInvest program is a philanthropic initiative supported by the Western Australian real estate industry and designed to help those without permanent accommodation.

In Perth there are nearly 10,000 homeless people who sleep rough on the city’s streets, in cars or in temporary accommodation.
